Bastante bonito para ser algo de los Bucks. No creo que deban haber ganado, pero RPG3K no están conectando con la grada como deberían.
>GAUNTLET MATCH FOR THE NEVER OPENWEIGHT SIX-MAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - Bullet Club (Bad Luck Fale, Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa)(C) vs Suzuki-Gun (Takashi Iizuka, Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi) vs Michael Elgin & War Wachine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson) vs CHAOS (Tomohiro Ishii, Toru Yano & Beretta) vs Taguchi Japan (Togi Makabe, Ryusuke Taguchi & Juice Robinson)
Nada esperaba y nada me dieron. Me alegro por Beretta igualmente.
>Kota Ibushi vs Cody
Empieza mediocre pero acaba muy bien. Fácilmente la mejor lucha de Cody desde salir de la WWE y hasta de su carrera. DAT CROSS RHODES.
>IWGP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer)(C) vs Los Ingobernables de Japón (EVIL & SANADA)
La fórmula del tag team de toda la vida bien ejecutada. KES aún son bastante geniales.
>HAIR VS HAIR DEATHMATCH FOR THE NEVER OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Minoru Suzuki(C) vs Hirooki Goto
De deathmatch tiene poco pero es un exhibición de violencia fantástica. Debería ser ilegal para un tipo de la edad de Suzuki ser tan bueno.
>IWGP JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Marty Scurll(C) vs Will Ospreay vs KUSHIDA vs Hiromu Takahashi
Pensaba que Scurll iba a sobrar y así fue. Spotty multiman match entre juniors, divertido pero mada que no haya visto cien veces. Ospreay parecía el jodido Barney.
>IWGP INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Hiroshi Tanahashi (C) vs Jay White
Pequeña decepción teniendo en cuenta que esperaba que fuera lo mejor de la noche, pero correcto de todas formas. Lejos del big match usual de Tana y White que sigue tratando de hacer funcionar un gimmick díficil.
>NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH FOR THE IWGP UNITED STATES HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Kenny Omega(C) vs Chris Jericho
¿Dónde carajos ha estado este Jericho en toda la década? Aprendan Cody, Scurll, Rollins, Jinder, etc; Jericho les ha dado una cátedra sobre como ser heel. Omega también estuvo bastante correcto, por qué no decirlo. MOTN.
>IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Kazuchika Okada(C) vs Tetsuya Naito
La fórmula de main event de NJPW contenida para bien. Muchos detalles bastante bonitos como Naito buscando tres veces la Stardust Press. Su derrota aún me duele.

Veredicto: Muy buen show en líneas generales, ni una lucha me aburrió realmente y todas me emocionaron bastante. Varias decisiones de bookeo que no me convencen.

Note: This is a rather poor translation of the Kenny vs Okada match review I wrote for my review of the whole Dominion PPV . You can read it if your spanish is good. Preview - NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

After a rough start of the year and a lot of their most relevant figures leaving, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor present one of their biggest shows to date at the legendary Madison Square Garden. With a card that most people wouldn't have expected just a couple of months ago, the function that will take place at New York is a mixed bag when it comes to the quality we would expect from the matches, mostly because ROH is really shit. P.D: Serg's back to give his view on this particular show. He doesn't give a shit about ROH either so I thought he was a good pick for this. Fuck the Honor Rumble, too. Oedo Tai (Kagetsu & Hazuki) & Jenny Rose vs Hana Kimura, Stella Grey, and Sumie Sakai I have no fucking idea who Jenny Rose and Stella Grey are, so I'm gonna guess they are some WOH girls who for some reason needed to be on the card. IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Kazuchika Okada(C) vs Katsuyori Shibata - NJPW Sakura Genesis 2017

Cuando empecé a ver NJPW, Katsuyori Shibata fue uno de los luchadores que más llamó mi atención. En una empresa llena de tipos con outfits muy llamativos y coloridos (Okada, Tanahashi, Goto), y con personalidades muy exageradas (Omega, Nakamura, Taguchi); Shibata destacaba por su sobriedad, su look era sencillo y no presentaba las taunts y catchphrases que tan frecuentes se han hecho últimamente en el puro. Mi interés en él aumentó cuando averigüé la historia de su carrera, su inicio como uno de los nuevos "tres mosqueteros" de NJPW, su partida e incursión (y fracaso también) en las MMA, su regreso y el heat que tenía con fans y colegas, sus años matandose en el midcard y, como punto culminante de esa "narrativa de carrera"; su victoria en la NJC de 2017, que le otorgaba una oportunidad por el título IWGP de Okada en el nuevo evento Sakura Genesis. El ambiente para la lucha no podría ser mejor, con el Sumo Hall absolutamente lleno y totalmente del lado del retad...
