Inicialmente pensaba escribir "tan buena como una lucha de Jericho en 2017 puede ser", pero tras verlo contra Omega solo diré que estuvo bien. Y hasta ahí.

Divertidillo hasta la eliminación de Nia. Pura mierda después.

Markeé como niño de 9 años al regreso de los Hardys. La lucha en sí tampoco estuvo nada mal.

Piss break. Llegué a ver la pedida de mano de Cena así que tampoco creo haberme perdido nada importante.
>NON-SANCTIONED MATCH - Seth Rollins vs Triple H
Triple H juega a ser técnico, Rollins se olvida de vender la pierna y Steph toma su bump anual. Nada que ver aquí muchachos.
>WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - Bray Wyatt(C) vs Randy Orton
Que cosa tan desastroza. Si alguien alguna vez me dice que la calidad de las luchas no importa en el wrestling, que mire el terrible 2017 de estos dos a consecuencia de esta horrible lucha y me lo repita.
>UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Goldberg(C) vs Brock Lesnar
Les tomó algo de 14 años pero finalmente descubrieron lo que hacía a Goldberg divertido de ver. MOTN.

Simplemente lamentable. Solía creer que de esta Roman nunca recuperaba al apoyo del público pero obviamente eso ya no les importa. El retiro del Taker me da absolutamente igual a este punto.

Veredicto: La primera parte del show es bastante buena salvo la lucha de las mujeres de RAW. La segunda es horrible salvo Lesnar vs Goldberg. Fun fact: Todos los que salieron como campeones del evento, excepto Lesnar y los Usos (que no defendieron), acabaron el 2017 de forma terrible.

Preview - NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

After a rough start of the year and a lot of their most relevant figures leaving, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor present one of their biggest shows to date at the legendary Madison Square Garden. With a card that most people wouldn't have expected just a couple of months ago, the function that will take place at New York is a mixed bag when it comes to the quality we would expect from the matches, mostly because ROH is really shit. P.D: Serg's back to give his view on this particular show. He doesn't give a shit about ROH either so I thought he was a good pick for this. Fuck the Honor Rumble, too. Oedo Tai (Kagetsu & Hazuki) & Jenny Rose vs Hana Kimura, Stella Grey, and Sumie Sakai I have no fucking idea who Jenny Rose and Stella Grey are, so I'm gonna guess they are some WOH girls who for some reason needed to be on the card. IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Kazuchika Okada(C) vs Katsuyori Shibata - NJPW Sakura Genesis 2017

Cuando empecé a ver NJPW, Katsuyori Shibata fue uno de los luchadores que más llamó mi atención. En una empresa llena de tipos con outfits muy llamativos y coloridos (Okada, Tanahashi, Goto), y con personalidades muy exageradas (Omega, Nakamura, Taguchi); Shibata destacaba por su sobriedad, su look era sencillo y no presentaba las taunts y catchphrases que tan frecuentes se han hecho últimamente en el puro. Mi interés en él aumentó cuando averigüé la historia de su carrera, su inicio como uno de los nuevos "tres mosqueteros" de NJPW, su partida e incursión (y fracaso también) en las MMA, su regreso y el heat que tenía con fans y colegas, sus años matandose en el midcard y, como punto culminante de esa "narrativa de carrera"; su victoria en la NJC de 2017, que le otorgaba una oportunidad por el título IWGP de Okada en el nuevo evento Sakura Genesis. El ambiente para la lucha no podría ser mejor, con el Sumo Hall absolutamente lleno y totalmente del lado del retad...
