Bonito y cortito, buen opener. Una pena no ver a Ohno en posiciones algo más relevantes. Ojalá Lars sea el próximo Braun.
>Aleister Black vs Velveteen Dream
Gran lucha, perfecto final para una de las mejores storylines del año pasado. Black se consolida como LA estrella de NXT y Dream como el novato con más hype del mundo. El post-match es aún mejor. MOTN.
>NXT WOWEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - Kairi Sane vs Ember Moon vs Peyton Royce vs Nikki Cross
Aceptable, pero carente de interés. Peyton sigue algo verde, Cross todavía es un poco tryhard, Kairi está demasiado pendiente de la reacción del público desde que llegó a la WWE y Ember sigue teniendo demasiada poca personalidad.
>NXT CHAMPIONSHIP - Drew McIntyre(C) vs Andrade "Cien" Almas
Le cuesta un poquito arrancar pero cuando lo hace es genial. El resultado fue una sorpresa agradable, me alegra ver a Andrade en esta posición y con el apoyo del público.
>TRIPLE THREAT WAR GAMES - The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly) vs SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain & Alexander Wolfe) vs Roderick Strong & The Autors of Pain (Akam & Rezar)
Muy desordenado. Muy violento. Muy divertido. Que UE ganaran era lo correcto, pero los están bookeando como inútiles, sobre todo a Cole que se supone es la estrella del grupo.

Veredicto: Los Takeover tienen una consistencia impresionante y este no es la excepción. Solo una lucha que se puede considerar mala y tres de muy alto nivel.

Preview - NJPW/ROH G1 Supercard

After a rough start of the year and a lot of their most relevant figures leaving, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor present one of their biggest shows to date at the legendary Madison Square Garden. With a card that most people wouldn't have expected just a couple of months ago, the function that will take place at New York is a mixed bag when it comes to the quality we would expect from the matches, mostly because ROH is really shit. P.D: Serg's back to give his view on this particular show. He doesn't give a shit about ROH either so I thought he was a good pick for this. Fuck the Honor Rumble, too. Oedo Tai (Kagetsu & Hazuki) & Jenny Rose vs Hana Kimura, Stella Grey, and Sumie Sakai I have no fucking idea who Jenny Rose and Stella Grey are, so I'm gonna guess they are some WOH girls who for some reason needed to be on the card. IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - Kazuchika Okada(C) vs Katsuyori Shibata - NJPW Sakura Genesis 2017

Cuando empecé a ver NJPW, Katsuyori Shibata fue uno de los luchadores que más llamó mi atención. En una empresa llena de tipos con outfits muy llamativos y coloridos (Okada, Tanahashi, Goto), y con personalidades muy exageradas (Omega, Nakamura, Taguchi); Shibata destacaba por su sobriedad, su look era sencillo y no presentaba las taunts y catchphrases que tan frecuentes se han hecho últimamente en el puro. Mi interés en él aumentó cuando averigüé la historia de su carrera, su inicio como uno de los nuevos "tres mosqueteros" de NJPW, su partida e incursión (y fracaso también) en las MMA, su regreso y el heat que tenía con fans y colegas, sus años matandose en el midcard y, como punto culminante de esa "narrativa de carrera"; su victoria en la NJC de 2017, que le otorgaba una oportunidad por el título IWGP de Okada en el nuevo evento Sakura Genesis. El ambiente para la lucha no podría ser mejor, con el Sumo Hall absolutamente lleno y totalmente del lado del retad...
